Zone Of Tones is Jim Wilson, from the KC area. His releases under "ZOT" are all instrumental, across many genres (ambient,
drone, piano, jazz, funk, prog, etc).
After piano lessons as a boy, and his first synthesizer in the 70s, he was a recording engineer & teacher during the 80s, followed by 25 years as a tech writer & photographer. He is retired now, with a modular synth system but no cats.
